Content Development

Why not just call it Copywriting?

Copywriting is part of content development. Copywriting is a large part of content development. But there is other content. White papers, press releases, one sheets, tables, diagrams, spreadsheets, image labels, and everything else on the page that is not an image or a headline, sub head or body. Content development involves deciding on the right content and producing it or procuring it so that everything a site visitor might need is where the visitor can easily find it. Content development works smoothly with your Web design and dynamic development to create a site that meets all of your customers' needs.

Where the Beef?

It's not the clever headline that sells. It's the straight forward, easily read, answers-all-questions in a logical order content that sells. Answer all the visitors questions, give them the specs and details they want so they can make a decision, then let them act on that decision and you have a sale. Sure everyone of a certain age remembers "Where's the Beef" but now people want to know what's in the beef, how many calories does it have, what's the fat content, where did it come from, is it organic and a thousand other answers. Headlines may get a visitor to look but there needs to be some targeted content under that head.
