Jackson Pollock (the artist best known for the paint splatters) knew the theories of color and texture and depth and negative and positive space. And we appreciate the emotional strength of his vision. We see a strong foundation in his knowledge. But our process is about stripping things down to most basic lines. We discuss the framework that needs to be in place before the art ever begins.

Discovery

Go ZapIT Interactive starts your project with a kick off meeting. At the first meeting we review the basic scope of the work - what needs to be done, roles and responsibilities, who is your point of contact for materials (text content, images) etc.

Sitemap

Next, the Client and Go ZapIT Interactive create and agree upon a final sitemap. A sitemap is an outline detailing the various pages on a website and how they link to each other. This is the blueprint to the website.

Wireframe

A wireframe is a skeleton website, indicating all the navigation, function and content elements that will appear on the final website, but with no graphic design elements. It is used to iron out any problems or missing elements, and will act as the blueprint for the content, design and construction work that comes later.

Content Development

Working from the sitemap and wireframe, we plan the content. Content planning and writing is probably the biggest workload the client will have during the project - and it can really take some time.

Design Concept

While content development is going on, your designer will be working on the concept design - the homepage and an interior page.

Client Feedback

There is review at every stage a new deliverable is planned and/or completed.

Programming

Taking the approved design concept pages, Go ZapIT Interactive begins to program the HTML, the CSS, and any other custom applications.

Testing

The final stage of production is the debug. The site needs is tested across all platforms to iron out any technical problems.

Launch

It is time to unveil the new website to the world.
